It is my pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI, in Spanish), where you will find information on access and utilization of the industrial property system in Mexico, as well as links to the major international institutions and offices related to industrial property in other countries.

Modern organizations have incorporated to its outreach and market penetration strategies, the use of advanced means of communication such as the largest network of networks, best known as the Internet.

In more than 15 years of IMPI’s existence, this means of communication has allowed us to offer and promote the Institute's services to more people, regardless of the conventional geographical barriers that limit access to information.

IMPI aims to protect industrial property rights and to promote and disseminate the benefits the IP system offers to support the inventive and trade activities of our country, fostering the creation and development of new technologies for the benefit of society as a whole.
